Online Concert Series

Featured Student: Corbin

This week’s featured student is Ethan performing “Slow Dancing in the Dark” by Joji. We take pride in giving our students the tools and fundamentals needed to pursue whatever it is in music that they want to pursue! As the old saying goes, we would rather teach our students how to fish than feed them for just a day. Ethan was able to learn this piece all by himself because of his theory knowledge, ear training, and improvement in technique. Great job Ethan, and keep taking the initiative to find new challenges!

This week’s featured student for our Online Concert Series performs “Hedwig’s Theme” by John Williams. You might recognize it if you have watched any of the “Harry Potter” movies. This student has made some great progress over the past few months, and we want to congratulate her on successfully auditioning to be a pianist in one of her school’s music ensembles!🦉✨🎹

Here is one of our students performing “This Is Me” from 'The Greatest Showman' for our Online Concert Series. This student has come such a long way in a short amount of time since starting with us, vastly improving technique and learning how to apply music theory practically. Awesome job! We are very proud of you. Unfortunately we cannot hold an in-person recital this year, but our Online Concert Series continues to allow students to showcase their improvement and hard work 🎶 🎹

Lexi is this week’s featured student! Here is her performance of “That Would Be Enough” from “Hamilton” for our Online Concert Series. Lexi is a very bright and artistic student, and we are looking forward to what is in store for her in the future as she works harder to improve her skills 🌟 🎹

Gabby plays “Trumpet Tune” by Jeremiah Clarke for our Online Concert Series. Through her online lessons this summer, Gabby has improved dramatically with her playing speed and sense of rhythm. We are so excited to see what you will accomplish this Fall. Great job Gabby - keep it up! 🎹🎵💯

Raphael is this week’s featured student! Here he is performing “March Militaire” by Franz Schubert. Raphael’s piano skills have been getting better and better over the last few months, but what we are especially proud of is his improvement in focus and concentration through his online lessons during the quarantine. 🎯🎵🎹

This week’s feature is Nathanael performing Billy Joel’s “Piano Man” for our Online Concert Series. Nathanael has been doing much better specifically with sight-reading music and playing with a strong sense of rhythm since he switched over to online lessons. Keep improving your practice habits along with your attention to detail and you will be a very talented player one day! 🎹👨🎶

Chloe performs Yiruma's "River Flows In You." Chloe's talent and hard work will take her far! We are very proud of you! Keep it up 🎹 🎶

Carissa plays "Tarantella" by A. Pieczonka (arranged by H. Hwang). She has demonstrated all-around improvement over the past year in everthing from reading ability to technical prowess, expressiveness to music theory knowledge. We are proud of you Carissa! Keep it up! 🎵 🎹

Sawyer’s performance of “Demons” by Imagine Dragons. Sawyer has improved so much in all aspects of his musicality, especially in his rhythm. Awesome job - keep it up! 🎹🐉🔥

This week’s featured student is Ryan performing “Alouette” arranged by J. Bastien. We are so proud of how far you have come Ryan! Keep up the great work!
